CARA MEMBUAT

  1. Boil the water in a medium size pot. 
    Masak air di dalam panci ukuran sedang.

  2. While waiting for the water to boil, cut the plantains at an angle. 
    Sementara menunggu air mendidih, potong pisang tanduknya miring.

  3. Put in a pinch of salt, the pandan leaves, palm sugar, and coconut milk into the pot. Stir. 
    Masukkan sedikit garam, daun pandan, gula jawa, dan santan di dalam panci. Aduk.

  4. Allow for it to boil for about 6 minutes. 
    Biarkan mendidih selama kira-kira 6 menit.

  5. Next, add the plantains into the pot with medium heat. 
    Setelah itu masukkan pisang tanduknya dan masak dengan api sedang.

  6. Don't forget to stir well, so that the coconut milk is evenly mixed. 
    Jangan lupa diaduk-aduk agar santan tercampur rata.

  7. The kolak pisang will be finished in about 8-10 minutes. 
    Sekitar 8-10 menit kolak pisang akan selesai.

TIPS

  • Don’t add the plantains into the pot too early, because the plantains can become crushed.

  • If you don’t have any palm sugar, you can use brown sugar as a substitute. But since it’s sweeter than palm sugar, only use about ½ cup or so depending on how sweet you want it.
